Figurative paintings
Lyn’s figurative paintings are often inspired by people, relationships and the stories suggested by posture, gesture and expression. She is drawn to the moments that exist between people and the emotional connection that can be held within a single image.
Landscapes and plein-air work
Alongside her figurative paintings, Lyn enjoys painting outdoors in local beauty spots and capturing places that hold colour, atmosphere and memory. These works often combine observation with expressive colour and lively mark-making.
Interiors and places
Lyn also paints interiors, public spaces and scenes from everyday life. These works often focus on light, colour, figures and the sense of a story unfolding within a particular place.
